Which Battery do I Need?
Before selecting a battery, check whether you are looking for the transmitter or the receiver. The transmitter is what the owner holds to initiate a shock to the dog's collar. The receiver is the piece on the collar itself that actually delivers the shock. Each of our pages specifies which part the battery will fit and also directs you to the matching battery for the other half. For example, the transmitter DC-16 directs to the respective receiver DC-17. We may also offer more common batteries that you recognize as an equivalent replacement for the original battery.
