The TriStar TS-MPPT-60 MPPT is rated for 60 amps at up to 150 volts PV open circuit and is designed for off-grid PV systems up to 3.0 kWp. Since it has a durable thermal architecture, no internal cooling fan, and no mechanical relays, this device is highly reliable.
Wide professional and consumer PV applications, such as remote telecommunications and off-grid homes, are well suited for the TriStar MPPT.
Morningstar's TriStar MPPT has a built-in Ethernet port for remote data control, programmability, and warning notification in the 60A version. Another advantage of the controller's communications capabilities is that it has an internal web server that allows any compatible web browser to connect to it and view the current system operating state, network configuration tab, and the controller's internal logged data values.
